Wise Men of Our Time
If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story.
Orson Welles
We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone.
Orson Welles
I find hope in the darkest of days, and focus in the brightest. I do not judge the universe.
Dalai Lama
If you have a particular faith or religion, that is good. But you can survive without it.
Dalai Lama
Sleep is the best meditation.
Dalai Lama
There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.
Dalai Lama
As you think, so shall you become.
Bruce Lee
This film cost $31 million. With that kind of money I could have invaded some country.
Clint Eastwood
If you love life, don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of.
Bruce Lee
The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering.
Bruce Lee
Even death is not to be feared by one who has lived wisely.

Why I Succeed
Why do I succeed?
I succeed because I am willing
to do the things you are not.
I will fight against the odds.
I will sacrifice.
I am not shackled by fear,
insecurity or doubt.
I feel those emotions -- drink
them in and then swallow them
away to the blackness of hell.
I am motivated by accomplish-
ment, not pride.
Pride consumes the weak -- kills
their heart from within.
If I fall -- I will get up.
If I am beaten -- I will return.
I will never stop getting better.
I will never give up -- ever.
That is why I succeed.

Men
Men don't die, they live. And you know how they live? They live like they are going to die.

Big Fish
There are two fishermen on opposite sides of a river. One is only catching small fish, while the other keeps catching big fish but continuously throws them back. The fisherman goes over to ask him why he's throwing back such big fish when he himself can only catch small ones. The other fisherman says, "My frying pan is too small for fish this big."
